Sharon Osbourne has made her first social media appearance since the passing of her husband, the iconic rock star, Ozzy Osbourne.
On July 22, the tragic news of Ozzy Osbourne’s death at the age of 76 was shared with the world.
In his later years, Ozzy had been battling several health issues, including Parkinson’s Disease.
On that sorrowful day, it was revealed that his cause of death was a heart attack, and he was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
The Osbourne family had gathered in the UK prior to his death, as Ozzy performed his last concert on July 5 in his birthplace, Birmingham, with his family supporting him backstage.
When the news of Ozzy’s death broke, the UK collectively mourned, and heartfelt tributes were offered to support his family during this difficult time.
On July 30, Osbourne’s mourning family took to the streets of Birmingham to join fans in remembering the beloved musician.
Ozzy’s hearse made its way through the city as fans gathered with signs, gifts, and cheers to honor his memory.
Sharon Osbourne, visibly heartbroken, was last seen during this public tribute procession.
Now, almost two months after Ozzy’s passing, Sharon has returned to social media, updating everyone on how she is managing her grief.
In a video shared on her Instagram, Sharon and her daughter Kelly are seen connecting with nature.
They are shown inviting owls to land on their hands.
In her caption, Sharon expressed her ongoing struggle to find the words for the ‘overwhelming love and support’ she has received from fans online since her husband’s passing.
She admitted: “Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”
Continuing, she shared: “Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.”
She explained that the interaction with these majestic birds is based on ‘trust and confidence’ and that the owls decide whether to perch based on sensing safety and fearlessness.
Describing it as ‘a bond I know all too well’, Sharon described the experience as ‘nothing short of magical’.
To conclude, she addressed her followers: “I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”
Fans were thrilled to see Sharon finding solace with the animals, leaving messages of encouragement under her post.
One person commented: “the world loves you momma osbourne.”
Another added: “Sending so much love! Owls are great for healing.”
Someone else shared: “Ozzy will always be forever not forgotten. Show much respect and love to the whole family. Great you all got to spend time with some beautiful animals and each other family means everything.”
