Sharon Osbourne has opened up about a botched cosmetic procedure that left her with a permanent facial dent.
The television personality, 74, detailed the mishap during Thursday’s episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, where her son Jack Osbourne asked whether she had ever felt frightened before going under the knife. She fired back with a candid admission about post-operative regrets instead.
“I have when I’ve woken up and seen the mistakes,” she said on the podcast.
Sharon then described the specific damage: “One time, it was this color black, all the way down here,” she recalled, motioning from her upper lip to her chin. She added that the botched work left her with a lingering indentation, remembering her shocked reaction upon discovering it. “What the hell?” she said she asked herself.
The former “X Factor” judge speculated about how the error occurred, suggesting the surgeon had left an assistant in charge while he stepped away to take a phone call. She later returned to the same doctor to complain about the result, describing a frustrating exchange where the practitioner dismissed her concerns with vague reassurances.

“You go, ‘What is in this that you’re injecting me with?'” she recounted of the confrontation, “and they go, ‘Don’t worry. It’s my special concoction. It’ll work.'”
Sharon continued, “it didn’t f–king work” and noted she’s now “got a dent.”

Both Jack and his wife, Aree Gearhart, pushed back during the recording, insisting they “don’t see” the alleged dent. Sharon responded with biting sarcasm about the stakes of the damage for her career. “It’s not like I earned my living out of my f–king face,” she said, though she acknowledged the procedures were “her choice” to begin with.
She also addressed the broader trap of cosmetic surgery, explaining how treating one area creates pressure to maintain the rest. “You have your face done. You’ve got a tight face,” she said, noting she never shows her arms “because they’re wrinkly and marked” and “the skin’s going.” She posed the dilemma bluntly: “It’s like, what about the rest of you? And then you’ve got a face that looks 50, and your body looks your age.”

The recovery process drew her criticism too, with Sharon calling it “brutal.” When Jack asked if she was finally “done” having work done on her face, she deflected with a poignant reference to her late husband. “Oh Jack. Who am I doing it for now?” she replied, seemingly alluding to Ozzy Osbourne, who died earlier this year.

This latest revelation follows years of public commentary about her cosmetic surgery history. Back in 2023, she swore off procedures entirely after a 2021 facelift disaster left her with alarming results. She told the Sunday Times that botched operation made her “like a f–king Cyclops.”
“That one put me off and it frightens me,” she said in April 2023. “I really f–king pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, no more.”
She added at the time, “Time is against me, I cannot have another facelift.”

The 2021 facelift that prompted her retirement from cosmetic procedures had gone so wrong that she described the aftermath in vivid terms, marking a turning point in her decades-long relationship with surgical enhancement.
