Sharon Osbourne reveals the moment Ozzy’s infidelity ‘meant something’ to her

Being married to a rock icon like Ozzy Osbourne certainly has its challenges, particularly when your spouse is known as the ‘Prince of Darkness.’

Ozzy’s tumultuous relationship with his wife and manager, Sharon, came into the public eye during the reality TV series, The Osbournes. Throughout its four seasons, audiences witnessed the couple’s one-of-a-kind dynamic.

This relationship was once again highlighted in 2017 when Sharon disclosed that Ozzy had been unfaithful multiple times over their forty-year marriage. Despite this, she surprisingly stated that the infidelity ‘meant nothing’ to her.

In an emotional interview on Piers Morgan: Uncensored, Sharon, aged 73, discussed the family’s hardships following Ozzy’s unexpected death in July, while also reflecting on her unconventional life with the Black Sabbath frontman.

“I know it’s a whole thing with a lot of women, ‘If you go with somebody else, that’s it. It’s over.’ But we’re all so different. It didn’t faze me,” she confessed.

The former America’s Got Talent judge explained that her outlook stems from her challenging upbringing and the environment she was familiar with, which was filled with “addicts and alcoholics and people like that, it was the 70s. It honestly didn’t faze me at all.”

She even disclosed details about some of the six women with whom her husband had affairs. She described them as ‘some Russian teenager, then a masseuse in England, our masseuse out here, and then our cook.’

Sharon also remarked about the infidelity: “He had women in different countries. Basically, if you’re a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you.”

Although Sharon managed to compartmentalize Ozzy’s infidelity, her patience wore thin when he attempted to continue his unfaithfulness at their home.

“A couple of times, it was like, ‘I don’t like the fact you brought them to my house.’ And it is my f*ing house. I would go to him, ‘I furnished it!’ That I didn’t like,” Sharon revealed to Piers Morgan.

The situation reached a boiling point in 2016 when Ozzy was compelled to publicly apologize for a four-year affair with celebrity stylist Michelle Pugh, who was 20 years younger.

Ozzy asserted that their relationship was merely physical, stating that he was “sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context.”

His spokesperson later expressed apologies “to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with.”

Sharon, who wed the star in 1982 and shares three children with him, remarked at the time: “When I found out about the hairdresser, I couldn’t believe it. Because none of these women were show ponies; he was doing it to fill the void in some way.”

The veteran musician later admitted to having a sex addiction, while Sharon candidly discussed his behavior as a co-host on CBS’ The Talk.

During a 2018 panel on sex, Sharon commented: “This is a bone of contention in our house… because he’s got a problem. He’s just like a rabbit.”

In contrast to the heavy metal icon’s behavior, Sharon found herself slowing down as she aged.

“I am like, birthdays, Christmas,” she explained to viewers. “At this point in my life, it’s special occasions. It’s Thanksgiving – why not?”
