Sharon Stone reveals producer who ‘pressured her’ to engage with co-star

Three years after hinting at a well-known producer pressuring her to engage in an intimate relationship with a co-star, Sharon Stone has now identified both the producer and the actor she was pushed to have a relationship with.

Throughout her career, Stone has been part of several successful films, although she took a seven-year break in the early 2000s following a stroke.

One of her most notable roles was in “Basic Instinct,” where she starred alongside Michael Douglas.

Despite their undeniable on-screen chemistry, Stone admitted she was never ‘comfortable’ around Douglas.

Following the film’s release in 1992, Stone explained: “I had met him on two or three occasions in social situations before I tested with him for this movie.

“I really felt that he and I could have a certain strange, dynamic energy together.

“I was never comfortable around him, and I don’t think he was comfortable around me.”

She also faced challenges working with Billy Baldwin on the film “Silver.”

Following the success of “Basic Instinct,” Stone was cast in the provocative drama “Silver.”

Due to the film’s explicit nature, Stone was reportedly encouraged to have a personal relationship with Baldwin.

According to Stone, the suggestion came from actor-turned-producer Robert Evans.

During a conversation with Louis Theroux on his podcast, Stone recounted: “He called me to his office. He had these very low seventies, eighties couches, so I’m essentially sitting on the floor, when I should have been on set.”

Stone further claimed that Evans suggested she sleep with Baldwin to enhance his on-screen performance.

She added: “He’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better.

“And we needed Billy to get better in the movie because that was the problem.”

Baldwin has since vehemently denied her allegations.

Taking to Twitter, he posted: “Not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?

“Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin.???’

“I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet.”

It appears that tensions between them have since settled, and Baldwin has not publicly shared any of the alleged ‘dirt’ he claims to have on Stone.
