Sharon Stone recently shared that she once went on a date with a well-known rapper.
The 67-year-old actress, who has received a Golden Globe Award, surprised many fans by revealing she had a brief romance with a famous musician.
Stone appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, alongside Bob Odenkirk, her co-star from Nobody 2. During the show, both Stone and the Better Call Saul actor answered numerous quick-fire questions about their personal lives.
Andy Cohen asked Stone to confirm a rumor about her dating history during the segment.
She was questioned if she had ever dated Nelly, the rapper famous for the song “Hot in Here,” now aged 50.
Before Stone could respond, Cohen speculated that the rumor might be true, saying, “I mean, this is crazy enough that I actually might believe it.”
Bob Odenkirk, 62, chimed in, stating: “I’m going to say yeah.”
After a brief pause, Stone admitted: “Yes, I did,” eliciting gasps from the audience.
Cohen further inquired: “Did you have a second date?” to which Stone shook her head and replied: “No, I did not.”
This revelation adds to the list of romances Stone has experienced over the years.
In 1984, the Casino actress married TV producer Michael Greenburg, whom she met on the set of The Vegas Strip War.
They divorced in 1990, and Stone later became involved with William J. MacDonald during the filming of Silver.
Their passionate affair, which led MacDonald to leave his wife and propose to Stone, ended in 1994.
In the same year, she got engaged to assistant director Bob Wagner, but the engagement was eventually called off.
Stone married Phil Bronstein in 1998. During their marriage, she suffered multiple miscarriages due to an autoimmune disease and endometriosis.
The couple adopted a son named Roan, who is now 25, in 2000, but separated in 2003. Stone later adopted two more sons: Laird, now 20, in 2005, and Quinn, 19, in 2006.
Currently, Stone is reportedly single. In January, she shared her struggles in finding love.
In an interview with The Times last year, she recounted various unfortunate dates, including one with a ‘heroin addict’ and another that felt more like a therapy session due to her date’s ongoing divorce.
Despite these experiences, Stone remains hopeful, stating that she has joined Tinder and is determined to find love this year.
As for Nelly, he married fellow rapper Ashanti in 2023, and they have a son, Kareen, who is 13 months old.
Nelly is also the father of four other children: daughter Chanelle, 31, son Cornell, 26, whom he shares with ex Channetta Valentines, and son Shawn, 27, and Sydney, 19, whom he adopted after the passing of his sister, Jackie Donahue, from leukemia in 2005.
Nelly’s representatives have been contacted for comment on the matter.
