If there is one thing humanity can agree on, it’s the cuteness of small furry critters. The following animals are tiny, and probably some of cutest we’ve ever seen. Interestingly enough, most of these species are smaller versions of ‘normal’ sized animals we consider to be common, like frogs and hamsters.
#1: Brookesia Micra Chameleon: This is the smallest chameleon in the world. Average length is 30mm long, so it spans around half a fingernail.
#2: Baluchistan Pygmy Jerboa: This is the smallest rodent in the world, weighing just 3-4 grams.
#3: Dwarf Gecko: Found in the British Virgin Islands, this gecko is approximately the size of a coin.
#4: Paedophryne Amauensis Frog: The smallest vertebrate in the world, found in Papua New Guinea. It’s as big as your fingertips.
#5: Etruscan Shrew: The smallest land mammal in the world.
#6: Roborovski Hamster: Less than an inch long, these tiny hamsters native to Russia, Kazakhstan and northern China are usually sold as pets.
Share this with your friends and see if they can handle the cuteness 🙂
