Rapper Snoop Dogg has embraced the role of a fairy godmother at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic games, trying out various winter sports and even fulfilling some people’s wishes.
The Drop It Like It’s Hot artist took a break from spending time with Michael Phelps and riding a Zamboni ice resurfacer at the figure skating events to pick up a substantial takeout order from a local restaurant.
Surprisingly, despite his global record sales exceeding 35 million, Snoop Dogg’s card was declined when he tried to purchase a cheeseburger, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, and french fries, as reported by NBC.

Nonetheless, demonstrating a sweet gesture of generosity, Cronox restaurant in Livigno allowed Snoop to take the food even though he couldn’t pay. In response, the Gin and Juice rapper showed his gratitude,

In a gesture that signifies his transformation from ‘Tha Doggfather’ to Team USA’s fairy godmother in Italy, Snoop gifted the family tickets to attend the men’s snowboard halfpipe final.
The restaurant owner’s daughter, Sofia Valmadre, shared: “He sent his staff to take it and pay, but they couldn’t pay. I don’t know why, it wasn’t going.”
“So my mother told him that it was okay [to take the food] without paying. Today, he sent us five tickets to see the final.”
This act of kindness is part of the rapper’s evolution into the unofficial mascot for America’s Olympians, building on his charming yet laidback appearances at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Snoop Dogg has certainly ramped up his presence at the Winter Olympics, as sports fans have noticed him trying out various sports, receiving snowboarding lessons from legend Shaun White, and even entertaining spectators by riding in a small blue sled.
However, his time in northern Italy hasn’t been entirely smooth.

As the Sensual Seduction star was leaving a Milan stadium after watching the 1000m speed skating event, a minor incident occurred with his entourage.
Dutch speed skater Marianne Timmer recounted to local media: “I was standing against a wall, and one of the security guards pushed me even closer. I said, ‘Just act normal.’ It’s a really wide hall, about four metres.
“But then the guy came back, and I said, ‘What? Do I have to go through that wall or something?’”
