YouTube star Jack Doherty has been arrested again in Florida, this time on a domestic battery charge.
Doherty, 22, was taken into custody Friday in Fort Lauderdale’s Riverside Park neighborhood after officers responded to a domestic dispute call shortly before noon, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department said. He was booked into the Broward County Main Jail on a single misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
Police determined that Doherty and “a female victim got into a physical dispute inside a residence,” according to the department’s account. The woman involved was not injured, authorities noted.
In his latest mugshot, the influencer appears to have a cut on his cheek, though it remains unclear whether the gash was sustained during the altercation. Specific details about what transpired inside the residence have not been disclosed.
A source close to Doherty claimed that he acted in self-defense during the incident.
The Friday arrest marks the latest in a string of legal troubles for the social media personality, who commands over 15 million YouTube subscribers and more than 28 million followers across all platforms. Broward County online records show Doherty has accumulated numerous traffic infractions and misdemeanors in the Miami area between 2022 and 2026.
His most recent prior arrest came in November 2025, when he was booked into Miami-Dade County Jail on drug possession and resisting arrest charges. At the time of that arrest, Doherty was carrying amphetamine and marijuana, police said.
That incident unfolded after Doherty blocked traffic on a Miami Beach street to film social media content. Body camera and bystander footage captured the confrontation with police.
“You think you’re funny? If you’re gonna be funny, get out of the f–king street. I don’t know who the f–k you think you are, bro,” a Miami Beach police officer told him, according to a since-deleted TikTok video.
“All right, we challenge you to a duel,” Doherty fired back at roughly half a dozen officers gathered at the scene.
He had been repeatedly warned to clear the street before officers placed him under arrest.
Doherty later described that November arrest as the worst day of his life, saying he spent hours in multiple holding cells before posting $3,500 bail.
The online star first rose to prominence through viral prank videos, but his behavior has increasingly drawn scrutiny beyond his fanbase. In October 2024, he totaled his $200,000 McLaren supercar while reportedly texting during a rainstorm, all while livestreaming on Kick. Viewers watched as he looked down at his phone on a slippery Miami highway, lost control, and slid across the right lane into a guardrail.
“All my money’s gone,” Doherty said in the immediate aftermath of the wreck.
The platform banned him following the collision.
