South Park Appears to Reply After Criticism from Kristi Noem Over Remarks on Her Appearance

South Park appears to have indirectly addressed comments made by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who criticized creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone for allegedly mocking her appearance.

In the recent episode of the 27th season of this popular comedy series, jokes were directed at several senior officials from the Trump administration.

This week’s episode featured a portrayal of Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, alongside Vice President JD Vance and Satan.

Mr. Mackey loses his job at the school and eventually finds employment with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

With the support of Homeland Security’s head, Noem, Mackey is taken to Trump’s Florida estate, where he encounters the President and Vice President.

The episode made a joke about Noem’s appearance, depicting her with low Botox levels and presenting a somewhat disheveled cartoon version of the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Noem’s animated character was also depicted shooting and killing dogs for an ICE training video, prompting a swift response from the official herself.

During an appearance on the Glenn Beck podcast, Noem criticized the episode as ‘petty’ and ‘lazy’, stating, “I didn’t get to see it. I was going over budget numbers and stuff. But you know, I just think it’s…um…yeah, it never ends.

“But it’s so lazy to just constantly make fun of women for how they look. Only the liberals and the extremists do that.”

Noem further remarked: “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, they just pick something petty like that.”

In what seems to be a reaction to Noem’s remarks, South Park updated their profile picture on Facebook.

This change was first reported by Discussing Film on X, formerly Twitter, who noted: “South Park has updated their profile photo on Facebook in response to Kristi Noem calling them sexist for criticizing her look.”

The new profile photo features a cartoon version of Noem, depicted with her Botox failing.

Amid the humor, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers has commented: “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end and for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as ‘offense’ [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show.”

Rogers also stated: “President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country’s history — and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump’s hot streak.”
