Trey Parker and Matt Stone say they don’t regret repeatedly taking aim at Donald Trump on South Park, even with the president frequently firing back.
Even if you’ve never watched the long-running animated series, you’ve probably heard about its ongoing digs at Trump and the people around him.
One moment that viewers labelled “savage” was the show’s gag implying Trump has a micropenis — with the reveal played for shock value during a scene where he gets into bed with Satan.
The White House responded publicly to that episode, directing its criticism straight at Parker and Stone.
“Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows,” it said on social media. “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”
Ouch.

More recently, Parker and Stone appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, where Kimmel joked that it’s a surprise they haven’t been tracked down and left “shackled down in a basement” somewhere.
“We hide behind cartoons,” Parker replied.
Trump’s VP JD Vance has also been spoofed on the series. Parker explained that the plan was originally for a quick gag, but the team enjoyed the character too much — with Vance portrayed as Tattoo from Fantasy Island as part of a Mar-a-Lago comparison.
Parker shared: “It was just gonna be a one-off joke — this joke about Mar-a-Lago being kind of like Fantasy Island — and we were like, ‘Oh, we’re just gonna have him be Tattoo, and it’s gonna be one shot.’ And we all just loved it so much, and we loved him as a little character.”
Stone then joked that they’re so into their Tattoo-style version of Vance that they’d happily build a whole spin-off around him.
It was during that same stretch of episodes that Parker and Stone landed on the idea of giving Trump a micropenis as part of the show’s depiction.
Parker said: “In that season of South Park, we did a deep-fake of the president. We actually brought our deepfake AI rig to show you how we did Donald Trump’s weiner on the show.”
He then walked through the process of how they made the gag work — and the method was far simpler than most people would assume.
According to Parker’s demonstration, it involved putting a fake foreskin on his finger, drawing eyes near the tip, and puppeteering the finger to create the on-screen effect.
Crude, but creative.
