South Park delivers biting comeback to Kristi Noem after episode depicting her shooting a dog with ICE

South Park is continuing its playful feud with Kristi Noem by releasing another humorous ‘end credits’ scene on social media.

If you’re unfamiliar with the animated sitcom, South Park is known for its equal-opportunity satire, targeting both Hollywood celebrities and politicians around the globe.

Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone haven’t held back for the show’s 27th season, especially in their portrayal of figures associated with the Trump administration.

Premiering on July 23, the show has taken aim at several political figures, with President Donald Trump being depicted in a scene where he pleads with Satan for intimacy. In the South Park universe, Satan once had an intimate relationship with Saddam Hussein.

The episode titled ‘Go A Nut’, released on August 6, put Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem in the spotlight. She later expressed her thoughts on her portrayal in the show.

In this episode, the Republican is shown brutally shooting dogs and puppies in an instructional video for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is a reference to a book excerpt where Noem admitted to shooting her own dog because it was overly aggressive.

Noem’s main grievance, however, was with the show’s mockery of her appearance. Throughout the episode, her face appears to be melting, a jab at alleged Botox use.

On Glenn Beck’s radio show, Noem criticized the episode, calling it ‘petty’ and lazy.’

“It’s so lazy to constantly make fun of women for how they look,” she remarked, admitting she hadn’t watched the episode because she was preoccupied with ‘going over budget numbers and stuff.’

Noem added: “If they wanted to criticize my job, go ahead and do that, but clearly they can’t, they just pick something petty like that.”

Instead of addressing her critique directly, South Park shared a Paramount+ exclusive post-credits scene on its Twitter account on Monday (August 11).

The caption read: “Didn’t see this on TV? Here’s the Paramount+ version of the end credits.”

The 27-second clip features Noem entering a pet store and opening fire on numerous animals inside.

One puppy manages to escape, but Noem notices it and promptly shoots it, completing the mayhem.

It’s not clear why this scene was omitted from the Comedy Central airing, but viewers have praised its comedic timing.

“Animators need a raise for this,” one Twitter user commented, sharing a screenshot of Noem’s distorted face from the episode.

“Dudes you’re f***ing killing it (as always). This season reminds me of South Park of old. Season Two more specifically,” another added.

A third person commented: “I love your comedy South Park, the fact you go after everybody is so hilarious.”

However, some viewers found the clip ‘disturbing’ and suggested the show should also critique Democrats more often.

The White House has not been pleased with the series so far, stating: “This show hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention.”

In response, Parker made a remark at San Diego Comic Con.

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance took his portrayal in stride after the show depicted him as a miniature version of himself, catering to Trump.

He commented on X: “Well, I’ve finally made it.”

The third episode of the new season is set to air on Wednesday (August 20) on Comedy Central and Thursday (August 21) on Paramount+.
