South Park ignites debate with episode depicting Dora The Explorer in a sex-trafficking plot to ‘Mar-a-Lago island’

South Park seems to have stirred up quite a bit of discussion with its newest storyline.

The acclaimed adult animated series is well-known for its provocative content and has recently found itself in a spat with the Trump administration following the debut episode of South Park’s 27th season.

Curious about the details? Let’s just say the plot intertwined the president, his alleged inadequacies, and Satan—three subjects I never expected to link together.

Despite receiving a harsh critique from the White House regarding the episode, South Park decided to amplify the controversial joke in the following episode on Wednesday (August 6).

In this latest season, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone don’t just focus on Trump but also critique the entire Trump administration.

Immigration has been a pressing issue in the US, with the president and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) intensifying efforts against so-called ‘illegal aliens’.

In the latest episode, the show targets Dora the Explorer, a well-known children’s character of Latin American descent.

During a live performance, ICE agents raid the venue and detain her along with other non-white audience members. An agent is heard saying: “If it’s Brown, it goes down.”

The narrative takes a darker turn when Dora, as a teenager, ends up as a ‘masseuse’ at Mar-a-Lago, which is portrayed as a scenario reminiscent of sex trafficking connected to affluent older men, hinting at Trump’s alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

This episode has sparked reactions across social media. One viewer commented: “Omg ICE raid on Dora the Explorer! #SouthPark is crazy!!!”

Another expressed disbelief: “I am screaminggg, not raiding a Dora the explorer show.”

Someone else added: “You’ve gotta be kidding me? DORA THE EXPLORER!?!?!?! #SouthPark.”

A further reaction read: “I literally screamed when South Park raided the dora the explorer concert.”

This episode followed a Homeland Security initiative using a South Park scene to recruit ICE agents.

Homeland Security shared an image of cartoon agents with the message: “JOIN.ICE.GOV.”

South Park’s official account responded to this post, writing: “Wait, so we ARE relevant? #eatabagofdicks.”

Judging by the start of South Park’s 27th season, their critiques of the president and his administration don’t seem likely to stop anytime soon.
