This powerful photo series by French photographer Antoine Geiger shows us the extent of our addiction to our smartphones. It’s frightening to say the least.
His project, titled SUR-FAKE, shows people’s faces being sucked into their smartphones.
It illustrates the major problem of technology dependance and addiction.
“It is placing the screen as an object of ‘mass subculture’, alienating the relation to our own body, and more generally to the physical world.”
Geiger is just 20-year-old, and already he’s lived in England, France, and the Netherlands, and had four exhibitions.
