Two actors from the popular Netflix series Stranger Things found themselves in an apartment that became quite unkempt during their stay, as one of them recently shared.
Gaten Matarazzo shared a living space with a fellow Netflix star and disclosed that the condition of their apartment deteriorated significantly during their time together, making it less than ideal for guests.
Many can relate to this situation – two individuals who might already be somewhat untidy, allowing clutter to accumulate until the home becomes unwelcoming for visitors.
This often leads to a burst of cleaning to make the home presentable before the cycle repeats.
This was the case for Matarazzo, who portrays Dustin Henderson on the acclaimed series. He discussed his living situation with Entertainment Weekly.

He shared that after moving in with Finn Wolfhard during filming, the situation escalated.
“I would look around, like, three months after we were living together and be like, ‘This place is disgusting, what are we doing?'” Matarazzo admitted.
The state of the apartment reached a point where they felt too embarrassed to have visitors due to its condition.
Matarazzo explained: “Both of us would be like, ‘No. Do not come 10 feet to our home.'”
The two of them seemed to have matched each other’s habits, initially containing the disorder to their bedrooms before it spread into shared spaces, lacking mutual accountability.
Realizing they couldn’t host friends in such a setting, they decided to address the mess.

This revelation comes as Stranger Things is approaching its conclusion at the end of the year.
The groundbreaking show, which has been a major success on the streaming service, is wrapping up after nearly a decade. It is known for its nostalgic supernatural sci-fi narrative.
However, like all good things, the series is about to conclude with a highly anticipated finale in its fifth and final season, with fans bracing for their final journey to Hawkins, Indiana.
The Duffer brothers have assured fans that the show will end with a grand and emotional finale, having envisioned the conclusion for quite some time.
Duffer shared with Variety: “We knew roughly what the end scene was for years – it wasn’t something we had to strain to come up with.”
As is common with streaming services, the final season is being released in several parts.
The first was made available on 26 November, the second is set to release on Christmas Day, and the final episode will be out on New Year’s Eve.
