Surprising Development in Missing US Woman Case: ‘Discovered’ Alive Thousands of Miles Away

A former Five Guys waitress originally from the US has been reported ‘missing’ but she insists she is ‘happy’ living as a handmaiden in a Scottish ‘tribe’ and has no plans to return home.

Kaura Taylor, 21, left Dallas, Texas, surprising her family and friends when she appeared as a part of the ‘Kingdom of Kubala’ situated in the Scottish woodlands.

Kaura, a high-school graduate who previously worked at a Murphy USA gas station and was described as a ‘church-going’ child, had reportedly been in communication with the self-proclaimed King and Queen for several months before she decided to leave her past life behind.

Now, she is a member of the tribe alongside Queen Nandi, 43, originally named Jean Gasho and a mother of seven, and her husband ‘King Atehene’.

The group has settled in a forest located in Jedburgh, aiming to reclaim land they assert was taken from their ancestors in the Highlands 400 years ago.

Kaura’s family has urged her to come back, but their pleas have been ignored. Her aunt expressed her worries, saying: “It is very stressful, and difficult. It breaks our heart. We’re overly concerned about Kaura, but she doesn’t think anyone is concerned about her.”

Her mother claims that Kaura has been ‘brainwashed’ by the tribe’s leader.

In a concerning development, it has been discovered that Kaura brought her one-year-old child with her from Texas to the UK.

UK authorities have reportedly taken her baby into care and are arranging for the child to be returned to the US, describing it as a ‘rescue’ from the camp where Kaura is residing.

According to The Times, Kaura’s mother, Melba Whitehead, has stated that Scottish authorities are allegedly not allowing her to take custody of her granddaughter.

Melba hopes her daughter will be sent back to the US.

“Evidently, she is not capable of making decisions that are good for her and her child,” the concerned mother said, adding: “So send her home. I am her mother. I will ensure she gets the help that she needs.”

Melba has filed missing person reports for her daughter, but due to Kaura being an adult, the authorities have limited options in enforcing her return. Kaura’s six-month visa could be a factor, as British authorities would have the legal grounds to deport her once it expires.

If Kaura’s tourist visa started in May, it is set to expire in November.

“I need the authorities to do something, and I need my daughter and my granddaughter back here,” Melba pleaded.

The Scottish authorities have been contacted for comment.
