Tate McRae Gets Wet and Wild in Campaign for Her First Perfume

Tate McRae has officially entered the beauty world with her debut fragrance.

The 23-year-old singer launched Tate 01 on Thursday, a perfume developed in partnership with Scent Beauty, Inc. The release marks her first venture into the fragrance market, with a campaign that puts her nearly bare skin at center stage.

“In my beauty routine, fragrance is that final invisible layer that elevates my entire mood,” McRae shared in a press release. “With Tate 01, I set out to craft a scent that feels entirely second-skin: effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you.”

The campaign imagery, shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti, shows McRae standing in profile inside a swimming pool. She crosses her arms over her bare chest, wet hair blowing in the wind, wearing little more than the scent itself.

The fragrance’s composition opens with sparkling bergamot and clary sage, building to a heart of orange flower and hedione. Its base settles into sensual moss and creamy tonka, creating a layered profile that shifts throughout wear.

“It melts in so gracefully that it never wears you; it just enhances who you already are,” McRae said in a release.

The perfume also incorporates ISO E Super, a synthetic molecule designed to interact with individual skin chemistry. According to the press release, this creates what the brand calls an “intimately personalized” scent experience that varies from wearer to wearer.

McRae has already integrated the fragrance into her daily routine as a performer. “I love to wear it during rehearsals — the scent warms up and moves with my body, allowing me to feel confident,” she added.

The launch arrives as McRae continues her rise in the pop landscape, expanding her brand beyond music and into lifestyle territory. The partnership with Scent Beauty, Inc. Positions her within a growing class of young artists leveraging their platforms for beauty entrepreneurship.

Tate 01 is available now through the brand’s retail channels.
