Travis Kelce marked his 37th birthday with a Manhattan dinner alongside Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy-winning songwriter, 36, were photographed entering Torrisi, an upscale Italian restaurant in SoHo, on Monday evening. Swift wore an all-black outfit consisting of a leather jacket, a lace-hemmed dress, strappy heels, and a matching purse. Kelce, whose NFL team is on a bye week, opted for a cardigan layered over a white T-shirt with charcoal trousers and dress shoes. The pair held hands as they walked into the eatery.
The Monday night outing came after the couple spent the weekend on opposite coasts. Swift was in New York City on Saturday to support Dakota Johnson’s hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live.” The “Anti-Hero” singer made a surprise appearance during Johnson’s monologue, participating in a joke about serving as the actress’s “therapist” during her failed romances. At the end of the broadcast, Swift presented Johnson, 37, with a blue birthday cake.
Swift did not attend Johnson’s birthday dinner at Via Carota on Sunday, an event where Jennifer Lawrence was photographed. Kelce, meanwhile, was in Nevada over the weekend as the Chiefs faced the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Swift was not in the stands for that game, which Kansas City won. She had also been absent the previous week when Kelce’s team played the Miami Dolphins, choosing instead to attend the MTV VMAs.
Despite missing those two road games, Swift has maintained a consistent presence at the Chiefs’ home games this season at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. During a game last month, she was seen showing off her wedding ring after Kelce scored a touchdown.
The couple’s relationship has been highly public since they began dating three years ago. They married in July at Madison Square Garden. Their previous joint appearance in New York City came in September, when they dined at Ambassadors Clubhouse, an Indian restaurant in NoHo.
The birthday dinner at Torrisi represents a rare midweek appearance for the pair together in Manhattan, with Kelce’s schedule freed by the Chiefs’ bye week. The NFL veteran has continued his broadcasting and endorsement commitments alongside his playing duties this season.
Swift’s Saturday Night Live cameo added to her long history with the sketch comedy series, which has previously featured her as both musical guest and host. Her presentation of the cake to Johnson capped the show with a personal touch between the two friends.
The couple’s marriage in July followed a relationship that began in 2023 and quickly became one of the most closely followed celebrity pairings. Their coordinated public appearances have frequently drawn attention to fashion choices and venue selections.
