Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce held hands while arriving at Patrick Mahomes’ birthday party Saturday.
The couple, both 36, stepped out for the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s 31st birthday celebration at 1587 Prime, the Missouri steakhouse Kelce and Mahomes co-own. Swift led the way in a strapless black dress and high heels, then paused for Kelce to catch up before they clasped hands and she flashed a broad smile at someone off-camera, video posted on X showed.
Kelce kept things casual in a short-sleeved button-up shirt with matching shorts and sneakers, a relaxed contrast to his wife’s dressed-up look.
Mahomes’ actual birthday fell on September 17, but the festivities stretched into the weekend. His wife Brittany, 31, documented the celebration on her Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of the couple posing in front of balloons spelling out “31.”
“I loveeeee you,” she gushed in the Story post.
She also marked the occasion with a dedicated Instagram post featuring family photos with their three children: Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 1.
“Happy Birthday Babe!! You mean the world to us 🥹🫶🏼,” Brittany wrote. “Hope you feel so special and loved today but truly everyday you’re so special to us! The heart of our family, we love you the MOST! ❤️.”
The birthday outing came five days after Swift supported Kelce at his first Chiefs home game since their July wedding. She watched from a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium, where cameras caught her in conversation with Tom Cruise.
Cruise, 64, later broke down that exchange during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.
“She was bringing the football. First of all, she’s a genius,” the “Top Gun” actor said.
“I’ve been following her since she was a kid. Everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right,” he continued, nodding to Kelce. “Everybody there in that booth.”
An insider said last month that the newlyweds are finding their groove as a married couple and “really enjoying what that feels like.”
“Taylor has been pouring herself into writing new music and is incredibly inspired creatively,” the insider said. “Songwriting has been her main focus, and she’s really excited about what’s taking shape.”
The source added that Kelce has zeroed in on his ninth NFL season.
“Travis is completely dialed in on this NFL season right now,” the insider said. “He’s focused on football, his team and having the best season he possibly can.”
The Chiefs tight end and the pop superstar tied the knot in July after more than a year of public dating that began when Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Kansas City and later shot his shot via a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Their relationship quickly became one of the most scrutinized celebrity pairings in recent memory, with Swift becoming a regular presence at Chiefs games throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons and Kelce joining her on multiple international tour dates.
The Chiefs will face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night in their third game of the season.
