Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has prompted questions about which famous friends were in attendance, including one person once described as a “dragon.”
Swift and Kelce were married on Friday, July 3, in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with a larger celebrity-filled celebration following the previous night’s rehearsal dinner.
Reports ahead of the event said the couple asked guests and staff to keep the details private, meaning the full guest list may never be made public. Even so, photos and video from the festivities have already revealed a number of familiar faces and some noticeable absences.
Swift’s inner circle has long included a rotating cast of high-profile stars.
Over the years, that group has featured names such as Jaime King, Hailee Steinfeld, Sarah Hyland, Emma Stone, Lorde, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Martha Hunt, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Blake Lively.

Among those friendships, Swift’s bond with Lively had appeared especially close for years, with Swift becoming godmother to Lively’s children James, Inez and Betty.
However, Lively was not photographed at the wedding, and she and Ryan Reynolds were seen at their daughter’s horse show in Lake Placid, New York, around the same time Swift’s wedding festivities were underway. That has fueled speculation that she did not attend, though it remains possible she was present without being publicly identified.
The absence comes amid public scrutiny of Lively’s relationship with Swift following the actress’s legal dispute tied to It Ends With Us and co-star/director Justin Baldoni.
Earlier this summer, a federal judge allowed Lively to recover some legal fees after Baldoni’s defamation lawsuit against her was dismissed, though the court rejected her request for additional damages.
The legal clash has stretched through 2024 and 2025 after Lively accused Baldoni of harassment, sexual misconduct, and orchestrating a smear campaign on the set of It Ends With Us.
Baldoni responded with a $400 million lawsuit linked to defamation claims, but that case was later thrown out.
During that period, parts of Lively’s text exchanges reportedly entered the public sphere.
That included messages involving Swift, alongside claims that Lively had leaned on her friendship with the singer in an effort to influence the film’s creative direction away from Baldoni.

Elsewhere, Swift’s wedding weekend drew plenty of other celebrity attention. Some of her longtime friends, including Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss, were photographed in New York during the festivities, while other well-known names were reportedly not expected to attend.
As for other names linked to the event, some reports suggested the Prince and Princess of Wales were not expected to attend, despite Prince William previously joking that he would have liked to go.
Harry Styles, who has long been rumored to be one of Swift’s exes, also reportedly did not attend and is currently on tour.
Representatives for Blake Lively were contacted for comment.
Page Six also reported that large quantities of food and ingredients were delivered to Madison Square Garden ahead of the celebration, offering a glimpse into what may have been served.
Guests may have been in for an upscale menu, with boxes of lobster meat reportedly seen arriving at the venue.
There also appeared to be plenty of chicken on hand, with boxes allegedly marked for different cuts and preparations, including breasts, legs, boneless and blackened.
French fries and thick-cut onion rings were reportedly among the deliveries too, along with red and orange peppers, romaine lettuce, eggs, whole milk and heavy whipping cream.
A Krispy Kreme van was also seen outside MSG, though it remains uncertain whether guests actually received an Original Glazed Dozen, since there is also a doughnut shop nearby.
A source said to have ‘direct knowledge’ told TMZ that Swift ‘personally curated food stations’ for the wedding, which were reportedly set to include ‘specialty bites’ from several of her ‘go-to spots’.
