Blake Lively’s legal battle has now drawn Taylor Swift into the situation.
Swift was once a close friend of Lively, the former Gossip Girl star. However, their relationship seemed to cool off as Lively became embroiled in legal issues with Justin Baldoni.
In December 2024, Lively lodged a legal complaint against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and alleging that he participated in a ‘smear campaign’ against her.
Baldoni has rejected the allegations made by his former co-star.
In response, the Jane the Virgin actor filed a countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, demanding $400 million in damages. This countersuit was dismissed by a judge in June.
As the legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni continues, there has been speculation that Swift and Lively’s friendship might become a focal point in the lawsuit. It is now reported, based on court documents from Baldoni’s legal team, that Swift has agreed to provide a deposition.
The singer of ‘Bad Blood’ is expected to be questioned about her communications with Lively during the time when the actress was filming It Ends With Us.
Requests for comments have been made to the representatives of Lively, Swift, and Baldoni.
