When Dalton Ross left his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee to study abroad at Belmont University in London, UK, he knew his mom would miss him, so he decided to do something about it.

He sent his mom Susan Talley a life-sized cardboard cutout of himself.
“I just thought sending a life-size cutout of me unannounced to my mom would give my family a laugh,” Ross told Aplus.
“I thought maybe they’d put it in the living room corner until I got back to remember I exist.”
But the apple never falls far from the tree, and his mom had other plans for her cutout son.
She took him out for meals…
Got him checked out at the hospital…
Kept him entertained with sporting events…
Asked him to do a speech at a family dinner…
She even arranged romantic dinner dates. We think they make a cute couple.
The moral of the story? Never, ever, on any account should you underestimate your mom.
