It was only a matter of time before the online hype for Star Wars: The Force Awakens collided with the internet’s enduring love of cats, but no one expected such a happy ending for a shelter cat with an uncanny resemblance to Kylo Ren from Star Wars.
It all started when Monmouth County SPCA posted a photo of Corey, an Oriental Shorthair tabby looking for a home.

Originally spotted by an eagle-eyed Redditor, news quickly spread that Kylo Ren, aka Adam Driver, had a kitty doppelganger.
