Unusual footage captures three peculiar lights in the sky, maintaining a consistent ‘formation’.
The video, which was made public by the US Department of War, previously known as the Department of Defence, shows the lights maneuvering over the Persian Gulf.
Though just recently released, the footage dates back to August 23, 2012, and was filmed by an MQ-9 Reaper drone under the aegis of the US Air Force.
The drone, equipped with infrared sensors, obtained the minute-long clip shortly after 6pm local time.
UFO sightings have long intrigued people, with many interpreting them as evidence of ‘alien life’ visiting our planet.
In this instance, the intriguing aspect of the lights is how they seemed to maintain their ‘formation’, keeping a distinct triangular arrangement among the three points of light.

This persisted except for a brief instance when one of the lights appeared to slightly fall back.
The footage underwent detailed examination on the WEAPONIZED podcast, hosted by Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp.
In a January 30 episode, they discussed the peculiar footage.
Corbell theorized that one light behaved in a ‘playful’ manner, stating: “These objects appear to be aware and intelligent of one another, and they’re keeping equidistant as they fly.
“But all of a sudden you see one make this playful little move as if it drops back in the formation, and then comes forward again.”
Knapp debated the footage’s authenticity, suggesting its military origin adds to its credibility.
“This is a military recorded sensor-generated image of what looks like a triangular UFO, like one big triangular craft with dots on each of the three ends. And clearly, you watch this, and that’s not what it is,” said Knapp.

Corbell revealed that the footage was labeled as ‘UAP’, which stands for ‘Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena’, rather than the traditional ‘UFO’.
“Your government has labeled this UAP, and you were never supposed to see this footage,” Corbell asserted.
Discussing the movement, he noted: “You see a break in that formation, and a pretty distinct and interesting movement.
“Our department of defence, or department of war now, said that this is a formation.”
Knapp concluded: “That’s clearly not one craft with three points of light on the corners.”
The video was reportedly part of a collection of material categorized as ‘non human’, yet not akin to an animal or any regular encounter.
