Tiger Woods has addressed the rumors regarding his relationship status, which have been circulating for some time.
Recently, the renowned golfer took to social media to confirm that he is indeed in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, who is the former daughter-in-law of Donald Trump.
On Sunday, Woods shared on Instagram: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
He also posted two photographs of them together, one of which depicts them cuddling on a garden chair.
Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018.
The former couple shares five children, including 17-year-old Kai, who attends school with Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie. Kai is anticipated to pursue golf at the University of Miami.
Vanessa also posted one of the photos with Woods on her Instagram story, though she did not provide a caption.
Social media users, as expected, shared their thoughts about the relationship announcement.
Many supporters congratulated the couple and wished them well. One Twitter user remarked: “I treasure you both. I pray that you gain all the blessings that God has for you. Please keep your relationship between you both and don’t worry about the haters, especially on this platform.”
Another follower expressed: “Happy for you both, forget the negativity, focus on having fun and enjoying life together, that’s all that really matters.”
A third simply added: “Congratulations! Hope you two have a great life together.”
However, some users questioned the couple’s request for privacy after publicly announcing their relationship.
Supporters of the couple responded by offering explanations on their behalf.
One person explained: “Several replies ask the question why formalize an announcement and then ask for privacy. An answer to this is quite simple.”
Another commented: “For those questioning this post, he’s likely confirming their relationship yet asking for privacy to enjoy it and not have to deal with negativity and hate or a million questions. I think it’s a sweet gesture of him and I know the Trump family cares for both of them. I wish them the best.”
This perspective suggests that the couple wants to publicly acknowledge their relationship while simultaneously requesting privacy to put an end to speculation.
