TikTok Influencer Shares Heartbreaking News: Loss of Twin Baby Girl Due to Placental Abruption

TikTok creator Tineke ‘Tini’ Younger has recently shared the tragic news about the loss of one of her twin daughters.

In July, Younger revealed to her 12 million followers that she was expecting, with her due date set for November. This came nearly a year after she married her partner, Antoine Wright Jr.

Fans of Younger, who first became familiar with her through her appearance on Gordon Ramsay’s series Next Level Chef, have followed her throughout her pregnancy journey. During this time, the 24-year-old chef continued to share her culinary creations.

Just last month, the TikTok personality posted her eggplant parm recipe, noting humorously that the ‘twins are the size of eggplant.’

Tragically, on Wednesday, November 26, Younger shared a sorrowful update about the loss of one of her twins, Arya, due to a 36-week placental abruption.

This medical condition occurs when the placenta separates from the uterine wall, which can lead to significant oxygen deprivation for the unborn babies and heavy bleeding for the mother, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Placental abruption is considered a rare pregnancy complication, occurring in about 1 out of every 100 pregnancies.

The Cleveland Clinic identifies symptoms such as abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, strong contractions, back pain, and a decrease in fetal movement.

“This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately, earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A),” Younger wrote in an Instagram update.

“We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl.”

“Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own. They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister,” she added.

“They both are so beautiful, and Arya will always be celebrated; her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister.”

The chef mentioned that she ‘will be taking a break’ following the birth, although she is ‘not sure for how long’ she will be absent. She assured: “I promise I will be back. I love you guys.”
