Timothée Chalamet secures first Critics Choice Award as Kylie Jenner reference draws attention

After winning the Critics Choice Award for Best Actor, Timothée Chalamet gave a heartfelt mention to his partner, Kylie Jenner.

The actor, known for his role as Wonka, secured his first Critics Choice Award for his performance in the newly released film, Marty Supreme.

The film, which is loosely based on the life of table tennis professional Marty Reisman, premiered in theaters on Christmas Day. Chalamet stars in the lead role, alongside Kevin O’Leary who portrays Milton Rockwell, an entrepreneur married to Kay Stone, played by Gwyneth Paltrow.

Both audiences and critics have praised the movie, leading to its recognition at the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards.

During the awards ceremony, Chalamet won the Best Actor category and used his acceptance speech to express his gratitude to Jenner.

He stated: “Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
