Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen appear to be on their way to the end zone: According to various reports, both have hired divorce attorneys.
As previously documented, the couple has been living apart for the last several months after an enormous dispute — and they’re now reportedly considering separating their multimillion-dollar enterprise.
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” one source said.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Brady and Bündchen’s representatives did not reply to calls for comment.
According to sources close to the seven-time Super Bowl champion, 45, and the supermodel, 42, who have been married since 2009, both are highly active in their children’s lives and would share joint custody in the event of a divorce.
Brady is the father of son Jack, 15, with former Bridget Moynahan, as well as son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9.
According to legal experts, the couple would most likely file for divorce in Florida because that is where they are mostly situated. Another source close to the couple confirms that they are considering splitting their assets, which include a $26 million property portfolio.
Brady is the highest-paid NFL player, earning $250 million in endorsements from FTX, Hertz, the BRADY brand, Autograph, and TB12.
Their most recent property purchase in December 2020, was a $17 million mansion on Indian Creek Island in Miami, dubbed “Billionaires Bunker.” They intended to demolish the 5,172-square-foot, five-bedroom home on the two-acre land and replace it with a new one.
However, due to the marital breakup, development on the property has been paused.
The pair also owns a $3.6 million condo at 70 Vestry St. in Tribeca and a $5.7 million property at developer Mike Meldman’s Yellowstone Club in Montana.
Bündchen’s favorite property is their isolated residence on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, where the family frequently holidays.
Before Hurricane Ian, the couple escaped Tampa, where Brady plays for the Buccaneers, and proceeded to Miami, where they had been separated. Bündchen has been observed there in recent days.
According to a source, Bündchen has been remaining in the Miami property she and Brady rented in 2020; it’s unclear where the quarterback has been.
Although sources close to Bündchen have emphasized that blaming the separation on Brady’s failure to resign from the NFL is “sexist,” a source close to the model said, “As with many marriages, it’s not just one thing. Gisele has made it clear that she worried about Tom playing football and that they had had many talks about it.
“But they have had a series of blowups over the past few years, and this time it looks like there’s no going back.”
