During a recent Instagram Live with Brian Austin Green, Tori announced that she has decided to leave the re-watch podcast because she wants to pursue other projects.

Spelling revealed her departure during an Instagram Live, encouraging fans to continue tuning in to Garth’s episodes.

Tori and Jennie – who appeared on all 10 seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 – were in the middle of recapping season 8 when Tori abruptly exited the series.

Jennie will continue to host the 9021OMG podcast without Tori, who encouraged fans to continue listening to the podcast.

The departure comes while the co-hosts were recapping season eight of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” leaving two seasons of the iconic series still to cover.

The pair had continued their podcast partnership for nearly six years since its launch.
90210MG reunited Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth decades after they starred together as Donna Martin and Kelly Taylor on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

Over the years, the pair revisited memorable moments from the series while sharing personal memories from the set, including stories that made headlines well beyond the show’s original run.

The announcement surprised fans who expected the pair to complete the series together.
In the comments section of a separate Instagram Reel shared by the podcast’s official account, fans voiced their frustrations with Tori leaving the podcast early since they still have two more seasons to go through.

“Weird way to handle Tori leaving the podcast. They don’t mention it on the actual podcast but she announces it on a live video with Brian,” one user wrote.

Additionally, some fans questioned the circumstances of her exit.
“Why did Tori need Brian to hold her hand when she announced that she was leaving OMG? Her actions are so bizarre, and I never thought I’d say this, but good riddance Tori, and please get a non-flake story teller on there. We can all sense there is bad blood between you three, so give us the update, please, and then let’s move on and rip the band aid off, and thanks for the memories, Tori, but hasta la vista, baby.”

Her announcement also sparked speculation among fans, with some questioning why the news was shared during a livestream instead of on the podcast itself.
Spelling did not elaborate on her specific new projects during the Instagram Live.

In a March episode of the podcast before her departure, Spelling opened up about the emotional weight of rewatching the series.
“Even though I’m Tori, you’re Jennie, and that’s Donna and Kelly … it’s just such a mind [expletive] going in and out of these stories,” Spelling said.
Garth replied with her own perspective on the experience.

“I’m seeing so much that affected me in my real life through watching this show — even though, yes, it’s a character, but these are young actresses and actors and going through the intense emotions of all these terrible things that each of them go through, they’ve gotta have an impact, not on just me, but on other people that were doing this,” Garth said.

Neither Spelling nor Garth has suggested there was any conflict surrounding the decision.

As of right now, Jennie hasn’t announced if another former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star will be joining the re-watch podcast.

In December 2025, Spelling had hinted at major changes ahead for her career.
“There’s more than hope. Where there’s a will, there’s a T,” Spelling shared with Us Weekly while attending iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball on December 5. “Yes, in 2026, it’s happening.”

While Spelling tried to stay mum on specific details, she confirmed “one of” the shows is family related. “One is more of a structured format and one is not,” she added.
