Amber Siyavus’ aunt found the former “Big Brother” contestant lying motionless in bed for more than four hours before police arrived at the Las Vegas home on Oct. 9, according to a police report.

Officers discovered the 46-year-old unresponsive in a bedroom with what appeared to be a snorting straw and a lighter in her hands, the report stated. Once her body was moved, authorities found aluminum foil with burnt residue and a small plastic bag containing white powder underneath her, police said.
Prescription pills and four Narcan sprays, which are used to reverse opioid overdoses, were also located inside her luggage, according to the report.

Siyavus’ aunt told police that the former reality star had traveled to Vegas on Oct. 4 to visit her mother. The aunt also claimed Siyavus did not have any suicidal thoughts and had been trying to move her son to Nevada as well.

Though Siyavus had a history of drug use, her aunt informed police that she previously attended rehab for her drug addiction.

Before her death, Siyavus had faced several legal troubles. She pleaded guilty to attempting to resist an officer with a dangerous weapon in 2020, and she also pleaded guilty to felony forgery over Western Union money orders.
Siyavus competed on “Big Brother” in 2007, ultimately placing seventh in the CBS competition series. During her time in the house, she earned the nickname “Whamber” due to her frequent crying.

The Clark County medical examiner in Nevada confirmed her death to Deadline.
