Travis Barker has shared fresh photos from a hospital bed, with wife Kourtney Kardashian and daughter Alabama Barker at his side.
The Blink-182 drummer, 50, posted the images on social media Tuesday, though he did not disclose the reason for the visit. In one photo, Alabama, 20, sits beside him while on her phone. Barker captioned it: “My babygirl came with me.”
A second image shows Kardashian leaning over to kiss him. He wrote beneath that shot: “And my beautiful wife by my side.” Barker was wearing a surgical cap and blue hospital gown in the pictures.
The posts arrived shortly after Barker shared a video of Rocky, his and Kardashian’s young son, riding a toy dinosaur. Rocky was born in 2023 and is the couple’s only child together.
Barker’s hospitalization comes four years after a 2022 bout with what he described as “life threatening pancreatitis.” He detailed that episode in a social media post from July 2022, explaining that a routine endoscopy took a dangerous turn.
“I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since,” he wrote at the time.
The drummer then revealed the specific cause: “I had a very small polyp removed” which “damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube,” He added: “I am so very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”
A year after that pancreatitis scare, Barker underwent another operation — this time on his finger after tearing a ligament during Blink-182 tour rehearsals. He posted about that surgery alongside a photo showing himself in a hospital with a cast on his arm.
“It was a hard decision to make but ultimately I couldn’t continue to play the drums without it. It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically,” he wrote.
Barker’s latest health update also follows the recent release of his Hulu documentary, “Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear,” in which he discussed his 2008 plane crash and a frightening prenatal medical crisis. About a month before Rocky’s birth, doctors performed fetal surgery to remove fluid from the baby’s lungs while Barker was touring Europe with Blink-182. He canceled four shows.
Kardashian has spoken about how Barker handled that emergency. “He just came and laid with me in the hospital and made sure that everything was OK,” she said.
The couple also suffered a miscarriage about six months into their relationship, losing a baby girl.
Barker and Kardashian married in 2022. He is also father to Alabama and son Landon from his previous relationship with Shanna Moakler.
