Travis Kelce is already mapping out how he’ll ring in the holidays with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, opened up about his yuletide plans in Tommy Hilfiger’s new winter campaign, calling this season a milestone he has been eager to reach. “I’m excited for this year to be my first Christmas as a married man,” he said in the brand’s promotional spot.

Kelce made clear he is not abandoning the familiar rituals that have long defined December for him. “I love all the old traditions and can’t wait to start some new ones,” he continued. “I start celebrating as that tree goes up.”
The “Perfect Holiday” campaign also pressed him on what an ideal Christmas Day would look like, and the athlete’s answer stayed true to his day job. He described his “perfect holiday” as having a night game on December 25 with his “entire family” in the stands cheering him on.

This will mark the third Christmas the couple have spent together, though the first since they wed. Last December, while still engaged, they reportedly jetted off for a ski vacation following Kelce’s Christmas Day game against the Denver Broncos. “He’s looking forward to spending time in the mountains with Taylor, enjoying a real winter getaway complete with skiing, hot chocolate, cozy rooms, and chilling out while watching the snow fall,” a source said at the time.

That same holiday season, Kelce let slip on the “New Heights” podcast that Swift had outdone everyone on his gift list. “The best gift that I got was from Taylor,” he told listeners. “But it gives away things that we’re trying to keep in house. So I’m not going to say it.” He quickly tacked on a tender postscript: “And I love you, Tay.”

The year before that, in 2022, the pair had celebrated together with both of their families for the first time, blending their respective circles at what was then an early stage of their relationship.
Kelce and Swift, also 36, tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in July after roughly three years of dating, reports said. The star-studded ceremony came just two months before the tight end’s 14th NFL season kicked off.

Swift has maintained a visible presence at Kelce’s home games throughout the current season, and the couple’s most recent joint public outing came in October for a dinner date in Manhattan. While Kelce has kept his focus locked on football, Swift has reportedly been keeping herself “super busy” in parallel.

The couple’s first Christmas as newlyweds arrives with both at the height of their respective careers, and Kelce’s campaign comments suggest he is treating the domestic milestone as seriously as any postseason push.

Gift-giving has already proven to be a competitive sport in the Kelce-Swift household. The Sun’s source claimed last year that Kelce had dropped $140,000 on presents for Swift, including a $90,000 Rolex, and that he “picked out some beautiful items from her favorite brands, like Dior” to prepare her wardrobe for their mountain getaway.
Whether this December brings another lavish exchange remains to be seen, though Kelce’s campaign remarks indicate the tradition-building itself matters more than any price tag.

Kelce and Swift are expected to continue their holiday celebrations together as the NFL regular season winds down.
