Travis Kelce reacts to Taylor Swift’s new song referencing his manhood

Travis Kelce has addressed the situation after it was revealed that Taylor Swift’s latest album features a song seemingly dedicated to his impressive physical attributes.

For many couples, discussions about insecurities regarding certain body parts may arise. However, while most keep these conversations private, Taylor Swift seems to have taken it a step further by penning a track on her new album that praises her fiancé’s anatomy.

Swift is following a longstanding tradition of artists, particularly women, writing songs or poetry about their partner’s physical traits. Historically, some have even humorously debated which husband’s anatomy was less desirable, rather than offering commendations.

Kelce has now shared his thoughts after the release of Swift’s album, The Life of a Showgirl, which includes the suggestively titled track ‘Wood.’

In a preview for an upcoming episode of the New Heights podcast, hosted by his brother Jason Kelce, the topic was brought up.

“How do you feel about ‘Wood’? Let’s ask this,” Jason questioned, “How do you feel about ‘Wood’?”

Before diving into Travis’ reaction, it’s worth revisiting the lyrics his fiancé wrote, just to get the context.

Swift’s lyrics include: “The curse on me was broken by your magic wand (Ah) / Seems to be that you and me, we make our own luck / New Heights (New Heights) of manhood (Manhood), I ain’t gotta knock on wood.”

The use of terms like ‘magic wands’ and ‘new heights of manhood’ suggest a fulfilling romantic life, certainly painting a positive picture.

Travis’s reaction to these public accolades?

After his brother broached the subject, Travis erupted in laughter, throwing his head back as the video teasingly cut off.

Apart from his initial reaction, Travis also expressed admiration for Swift, applauding her dedication to the album and encouraging fans to listen.

“It’s been so fun to see everybody’s reactions. We’ve had an absolute blast,” he remarked.

“Watching her go through all of her press tour or radios and all these talk shows—she’s looked amazing, sounded amazing and this album is absolutely amazing.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has opted to let the song ‘Wood’ speak for itself, remaining silent about its specific meaning.
