The first New Heights episode since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s headline-grabbing wedding has arrived, with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end opening up about the couple’s ‘Love Story’.
Fans were sent into overdrive after the pair reportedly married at Madison Square Garden on Friday, June 3. Although efforts were made to keep the ceremony private, photographers and crowds gathered outside the New York venue hoping to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds.
So far, no official photos of the wedding fashion have surfaced, despite reports that Jonathan Anderson designed the looks for Dior Haute Couture. The pair did, however, confirm the marriage with a sign displayed outside the famous arena that read ‘JUST&T MARRIED’.
Reports have also claimed that around 1,000 guests were asked to sign NDAs, though a few details have still emerged, including news that Stevie Nicks performed during the celebration.
Kelce has now returned to his podcast with brother Jason for the first episode released since the wedding, and during the show he reflected on the moment he proposed to Swift.
The episode also revisited one of the most important chapters in the couple’s relationship: Swift’s appearance on New Heights last summer, which helped fuel months of speculation about the pair’s future together. The podcast appearance became a cultural moment in its own right, with Swift using the platform to talk candidly about the relationship and the pair’s easy chemistry on mic.

While he didn’t share any fresh details about the wedding itself, Kelce did speak about what was going through his mind ahead of the proposal last summer. He explained that it came shortly after Swift appeared as a special guest on the podcast.
“Ending the season with Tom Brady, pretty epic. Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic. During that recording the entire time, I’m planning, like, ‘I’m gonna ask this woman to marry me after this,’” he revealed during the new episode.
It sounds like football was not the only thing occupying his thoughts at the time.
Kelce also said the episode featuring Swift is one he will always remember.
“It’s by far the most viewed episode of all time,” his brother Jason added.

The July 8 edition of New Heights was recorded before the wedding took place, which is why the episode focused on Kelce’s proposal rather than any newlywed details. Even so, it still offered fans a rare look back at the moment that set the stage for one of pop culture’s most closely watched romances.
Swift and Kelce’s relationship had already been one of the biggest stories in entertainment and sports, from the now-famous friendship bracelet that started it all to their engagement announcement last year, which sent social media into overdrive.
The announcement post caused a huge reaction online, showing the pair embracing while Kelce was down on one knee in what appeared to be an ‘enchanted forest’.
In the caption of the post, which has a whopping 37.5 million likes, the couple penned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
For now, fans will have to keep watching their feeds and waiting for the couple to say more.
