The duo shared their happy news on Instagram with a collection of photos featuring them amidst a floral backdrop, accompanied by the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The relationship between Kelce and Swift blossomed in 2023, following the Kansas City Chiefs player’s expression of interest in meeting her on an episode of his New Heights podcast.
Kelce’s admiration for Swift came into the spotlight after his breakup with Nicole in 2022, ending a five-year on-and-off relationship.
While Nicole did not directly address the news of the engagement, she shared a reflective post on her Instagram Story about the importance of actively choosing ‘joy’ in life.
This post included a clip of actor Tracee Ellis Ross, who shared her thoughts: “I think joy is different from happiness. Happiness is something you can get at 7-Eleven, and joy is something that you earn and work for and takes practice.”
