Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, has recently made significant changes following her Halloween costume, which seemed to be a jab at Taylor Swift.
All the drama kicked off after Swift’s release of ‘Opalite’ from her The Life of a Showgirl album, which some believe contains a subtle dig at the YouTuber.
The line that got people talking goes: “You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.”
This particular lyric is linked to a viral moment between Nicole and Kelce during their relationship.
In the clip, the couple appears to be dining, with Kelce expressing frustration, “Oh my God. Get off your phone… You’re not even drinking your wine anymore, can we go?”

A few weeks later, Nicole dropped a highly discussed video on Instagram, dressed as Toni Braxton for Halloween, performing a song centered around men and heartbreak.
TikToker @thesimplysimone applauded Nicole’s choice, noting its cleverness and tribute to Braxton in the ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ music video.
“Y’all, Kayla Nicole has won Halloween!” Simone exclaimed. “Not only is it a great tribute costume to Toni Braxton, but this is such a creative clap-back to Taylor Swift’s a**.”
Nicole captioned her video: “This song went triple platinum in my 2006 bmw. And still getting played todayyyy.”
She further praised Braxton, stating: “She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @Toni Braxton circa 2000.”
The lyrics, which parallel her circumstances, stirred controversy online.
They include: “Did you know about us back then? / Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?” Nicole mimed. “I’m not thinking ’bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave? / Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn’t man enough for me.”
However, the plot has thickened further.
Nicole has apparently deactivated her X account amidst a new wave of controversy.
Numerous media outlets reported her account deactivation on November 6, following the alleged resurfacing of old tweets that reportedly included homophobic and racial language from 2010 to 2014.

Reactions to the alleged thread of her past tweets have been mixed online.
Some view the backlash as excessive, while others believe she should be held accountable.
One X user commented: “That was 15 years ago. We are all better people since then.”
Another added: “The best thing is swifties would’ve left her alone like we did for the last 2 years but she pushed the button too much.”
Efforts have been made to reach Kayla Nicole’s representatives for a statement.
