When 21-year-old Amy from Scotland traveled all the way to Glasgow for a date, the universe somewhere took a wrong turn and surprise, surprise — Amy got stood up.
Instead of going home and being upset about it, she decided to treat herself.

She Snapchatted her day, then later uploaded a few examples on Twitter to her 32,000 followers.
She started the date off by popping in to Ann Summers and spoiling herself with something sexy.
Then, she went for a quick bite and a sundae for one.
Which to be honest, a sundae for one is really the only way to eat a sundae.
She capped off her day with a cocktail at a local bar.
And then finally, a little peek at what her date had been missing.
‘If I wasn’t stood up, I wouldn’t have saw [sic] the Ann Summers sale. Who’s the real winner?’ she said, along with a pic of her posing in lingerie.
Amy said, “It took courage for me to even go so instead of getting upset, I wanted to joke about it and enjoy myself.”
She then followed up on Twitter to let everyone know there were no hard feelings between her and her date.
