Former President Donald Trump expressed gratitude after receiving the newly established “FIFA Peace Prize” during a recent event.
Earlier in the year, Donald Trump had frequently claimed that he was deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize, a sentiment echoed by many of his supporters.
Despite this, he was not chosen for the award, which was given to María Corina Machado instead.
However, Trump has now been honored with the FIFA Peace Prize, a new award presented at a World Cup Draw ceremony.
Attending the event with the First Lady, Trump described receiving the award as ‘one of the great honors of my life’.
