Donald Trump and Melania both attended the premiere of her film, but some noticed someone unexpected was missing from the event.
Melania celebrated her documentary’s big night on Thursday (January 29), with attendees ranging from minor celebrities to members of the Trump administration.
The event was hosted at the newly rebranded Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
While the film may not be destined for blockbuster status, the US First Lady expressed that it doesn’t particularly concern her.
In an interview with CNN, she stated: “I’m very proud of the film so people may like it, may don’t like it, and that’s their choice.
“We achieved what we want to achieve. For myself, it’s already successful. I’m very proud of what we did.”

This film captures the 20 days surrounding Trump’s return to the White House.
During the event, Melania addressed the audience: “Some have called this a documentary. It is not.
“It is a creative experience that offers perspectives, insights, and moments.”
Trump briefly spoke to reporters at the event, using the opportunity to criticize former president Barack Obama.
He dismissed critics who noted that Amazon paid $40 million for the movie rights, saying: “Well, I think they’d have to go and ask President Obama, who got paid a lot of money and hasn’t done anything.”
Trump provided his early review of the film, describing it as glamorous, having seen it prior to the premiere.
However, even with familiar faces like Robert F Kennedy Jr, Nicki Minaj, Pete Hegseth, and Donald Trump Jr. in attendance, some notable absences were evident.

Among those absent were President Trump’s children.
Barron Trump, the son he shares with Melania, was not present, nor were two of his children with his late wife Ivana Trump, Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump.
The film is scheduled to debut in ‘at least 1,400 theaters nationwide and in more than 27 countries’ this weekend.
Despite Donald Trump’s social media claims that the film is ‘selling out fast’, reports from some locations suggest that no tickets have been sold for the movie.
One social media user noted: “Not a single ticket sold for the opening night 9:55pm showing of Melania at the busiest movie theater in the metro-Jacksonville area.”
Another similarly shared a screenshot indicating no tickets had been sold in another theater for the film’s showing.
