Trump ‘halts shower restrictions’ with executive order following surprising admission about hair-washing habits

Curious about the secret behind US President Donald Trump’s hair? Well, you’re not alone, and he’s recently shed light on it as his latest executive order takes effect.

As stock markets strive to rebound following a 90-day pause on tariffs, Trump has disclosed the secret to his ‘beautiful’ hair.

While the US has been embroiled in tariff disputes with trading partners under Trump’s ‘Make America Wealthy Again’ initiative, another topic has unexpectedly grabbed headlines: his hair care routine.

Just a week ago, on April 2, the President announced that approximately 60 countries would face a minimum 10 percent tariff on their goods imported into the US, causing the stock market to tumble by $2 trillion within seconds during his ‘Liberation Day’ address.

Despite the significant backlash, Trump remains steadfast in his plans.

Now, as everyone processes the shock, he once again surprised the public from the Oval Office, but this time, the topic was his hair care regimen.

On Wednesday, April 9, the president announced a change to the federal definition of ‘shower head’ to counter what he calls the ‘Obama-Biden war on water pressure’.

He argued that insufficient water pressure in American showers, sinks, and toilets is due to federal water-conservation standards.

This issue not only affects his shower time but also his hair care.

As Trump signed the executive order, he remarked: “In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair.”

The White House stated that this new rule will apply to various household appliances, including toilets and sinks.

Trump elaborated on his concerns: “I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”

The White House’s statement asserts that by ‘restoring shower freedom,’ Trump is ‘fulfilling his promise to eliminate unnecessary regulations and prioritize Americans’.

Even with the order signed, water pressure has long been a point of contention for Trump.

In 2019, he commented that ‘people are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once’.

By 2023, he noted: “When you go into these new homes with showers, the water drips down slowly, slowly.”

In his speech, he highlighted that despite significant investments in new homes, developers face restrictions on water pressure due to ‘restrictors’ being installed.

He mentioned that from showering to washing hands and using dishwashers, there are situations where ‘no water comes out’.

He reiterated: “In my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair. I have to stand under the shower for 15 minutes till it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip.”

Because of these restrictions, he claimed that washing hands takes much longer.

Looking ahead, he also expressed a desire to reintroduce plastic straws, criticizing paper straws for allegedly disintegrating in drinks.

We’ll have to wait and see how these initiatives unfold.
