Donald Trump has puzzled many with some unexpected comments regarding his sexual preferences during a speech at the inaugural Board of Peace meeting.
The Board of Peace convened for its first session today (February 19), bringing together officials from nearly 50 countries to discuss global issues.
Out of these, 27 nations have officially joined The Board of Peace, an initiative conceptualized by Trump and introduced in September 2025.
A significant focus of the day’s discussions was the situation in Gaza, which has been severely affected amid ongoing tensions between Hamas and Israel, a conflict reported by The Guardian to have impacted at least 75,000 people over the past 16 months.
Nine member nations have now committed to contributing seven billion dollars to a relief package for Gaza. These countries include Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait.

Despite the gravity of topics discussed in Washington DC, Trump unexpectedly shifted to discussing his sexual preferences…
Referring to the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios, who was present, Trump remarked: “[He’s a] young, handsome guy. It’s always nice to be young and handsome. Doesn’t mean we have to like you.”
He further elaborated: “I don’t like young, handsome men. Women, I like. Men, I don’t have any interest.”
Thanks for those insights, Donald.
These unusual comments from the POTUS have sparked reactions on Reddit.
One user commented, “What a f**king embarrassment,” while another added, “His brain is so cooked. I hope it hurts.”
Another user humorously noted: “Paraguayan President catching strays wondering what the f**k is happening. Next you know, the country will get a tariff for having a handsome young President.”
One comment reflected on the broader implications: “This is who the US picked to represent them. OMG.”
Trump is known for making remarks about people’s appearances. An old clip from 2006 shows him bragging about hiring a ‘pretty’ teenager despite her lack of experience.

In another recent instance, Trump complimented an Angolan reporter, Hariana Verás, calling her ‘beautiful.’
During the unusual exchange at the White House in July, he remarked: “You are beautiful and you’re beautiful inside. I wish I had more reporters like you.”
He continued: “Karoline [Leavitt] said this, number one, that I shouldn’t say this because it’s politically incorrect.”
It seems that advice didn’t deter him, though…
