Trump reacts angrily after judge claims he ‘unlawfully deployed’ National Guard during LA protests

A federal judge has ordered authority over the troops to be returned to California Governor Gavin Newsom following the controversial action from Donald Trump.

After protests and unrest in Los Angeles over the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, Trump ordered the National Guard into the state.

The state subsequently sued Trump over this directive as it did not have Newsom’s consent.

Trump stated he was deploying the troops, who are normally under the governor’s command, to prevent LA from ‘burning down’ and maintained this action was necessary.

US District Judge Charles Breyer stated that the question presented by the state of California was whether Trump’s actions followed the law established by Congress on the deployment of a state’s National Guard.

In his decision, Breyer wrote: “[Trump] did not. His actions were illegal… He must therefore return control of the California National Guard to the Governor of the State of California forthwith.”

After this ruling, Trump expressed his frustrations on his social media platform, and strongly defended his actions.

He stated: “The Biden Administration and Governor Newscum flooded America with 21 Million Illegal Aliens, destroying Schools, Hospitals and Communities, and consuming untold Billions of Dollars in Free Welfare. All of them have to go home, as do countless other Illegals and Criminals, who will turn us into a bankrupt Third World Nation. America was invaded and occupied. I am reversing the Invasion. It’s called Remigration. Our courageous ICE Officers, who are daily being subjected to doxxing and murder threats, are HEROES. We will always have their back as they carry out this noble mission. America will be for Americans again!”

In a subsequent message, Trump contended that LA would be burning to the ground if it wasn’t for his intervention.

In a post less than half an hour later, he stated: “Incompetent Gavin Newscum should have been THANKING me for the job we did in Los Angeles, rather than making sad excuses for the poor job he has done. If it weren’t for me getting the National Guard into Los Angeles, it would be burning to the ground right now!”
