Trump releases fiery statement on father deported to notorious prison over ‘administrative mistake’

Donald Trump has released a fiery statement regarding the deportation of a father to a well-known prison in El Salvador due to what has been termed an ‘admin error’.

More than 250 individuals, accused of criminal activities, have been deported to the Center for Terrorism Confinement (CECOT) in El Salvador. Trump’s plan to initiate mass deportations is based on a law that was last used during World War II.

Among those deported is Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from Maryland. The Trump administration acknowledged that his deportation was an ‘administrative error’.

Although Garcia illegally entered the U.S. around 2011, a judge ruled in 2019 against his deportation, citing threats from a gang in his homeland.

Despite this, Garcia was detained on March 12, with claims from the Trump administration that he was apprehended ‘in the company of other ranking gang members’.

According to the White House, a ‘reliable source’ confirmed Garcia’s membership in the MS-13 gang.

CASA, an organization advocating for immigrants, has been working to bring Garcia back to the U.S., insisting he has not been convicted of any crime in either the U.S. or El Salvador.

In response to the situation, Trump took to his Truth Social platform, releasing a harsh statement concerning Garcia’s possible return to the U.S.

The 47th President wrote: “Radical Lunatic Democrats and their Comrades in the Fake News Media are falsely making Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia out to be a very sweet and innocent person, which is a total, blatant, and dangerous LIE.

“Garcia has been found by two separate Courts to be a member of the violent, killer gang MS-13, was in our Country illegally, and is under a Deportation Order.

Trump further stated: “It is despicable and unAmerican for Liberals and the Mainstream Media to hate our Country so much, and be obsessed with protecting criminals, instead of working to keep our Border, streets, and families safe.

“Those lying to the American People on behalf of violent criminals have to be held responsible by the Agencies and the Courts. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The Supreme Court previously decided that Trump’s administration must assist in returning Garcia after the accidental deportation came to light. This has led to discussions between Trump and El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele.

During an Oval Office discussion, Bukele stated that the decision to return Garcia would be up to his government, expressing reluctance to do so.

“I hope you’re not suggesting that I smuggle a terrorist into the United States. How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? Of course I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous,” Bukele told the media during the meeting.

“We just turned the murder capital of the world to the safest country the western hemisphere. And you want us to go back into the releasing criminals, so we can go back to the murder capital of the world, and that’s not going to happen.”
