Trump shares results of his tests after third medical visit in just over a year

Donald Trump has released details from his third medical evaluation of the year, saying the appointment found no issues.

With the President set to turn 80 later this month, he is on track to become the oldest person ever to hold the office.

That milestone has renewed attention on his fitness for the role, with critics and supporters alike debating whether he has the energy and endurance required to serve.

Trump attended Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 25 for what he described as an “annual preventative medical and dental checkup,” marking his fourth checkup since returning to office.

Recent appearances have fueled further discussion about his condition, including moments where he appeared to doze during press events and visible bruising on his hands. The White House has sought to minimize the concerns, attributing the bruising to frequent handshakes and aspirin use as a blood thinner.

Separately, last year Trump’s team disclosed that he had chronic venous insufficiency after doctors evaluated mild swelling in his legs.

Following the latest visit, the president publicly insisted the results were positive.

Writing on Truth Social, he said: “Just finished my six month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY.

“Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House.”

An Ipsos poll carried out in April reported that fewer than half of Americans believe Trump has the physical health or mental sharpness to serve effectively as President.

Speaking to ABC News, Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as a White House physician for more than a decade under former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton said: “I think concern for the president’s physical health is probably at an all-time high, and I think advanced physical age is the No. 1 concern.

In response, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle defended the president’s condition in a statement.

Despite these concerns White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said in a statement: “President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible President in American history who is working nonstop to solve problems and deliver on his promises, and he remains in excellent health.”
