Mary Trump, who is the niece of Donald Trump, has shared her thoughts on why the former President might believe “the end is near” following his past remarks about his chances of entering heaven.
Mary, 60, has been a vocal critic of her uncle and even initiated a lawsuit against him in 2020 over inheritance issues, which a judge later dismissed.
Therefore, it’s not unexpected that her recent commentary on Trump carries a critical tone.
During a session on her YouTube channel, Mary Trump Media, she addressed Trump’s peculiar comments about the afterlife, suggesting these should be of concern to people.
She noted: “Donald, and I honestly, I find this a little weird, has been contemplating his own mortality lately. Why is that weird? Well, because I don’t think he believes that he’s mortal. I’m not saying he thinks he’s immortal.
“I’m just saying I don’t think he looks at it in those terms. So the fact that he is starting to reveal some of his unconscious concerns should…how do I put this delicately? It should scare the f*** out of us, quite frankly. It’s almost as if he can see the end is near.”

Earlier in the year, reports emerged suggesting the former president had requested donations from supporters as a means to ‘get to heaven’.
As per Newsweek, emails were sent to supporters with the subject line ‘I want to try and get to heaven’, soliciting $15 contributions.
It was reported by several media outlets that these emails began circulating on August 23, continuing every few days, referencing an incident from July where there was an attempt on Trump’s life.
Around that period, Trump remarked on the Fox and Friends breakfast show: “If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty — I want to try to get to heaven if possible.
“I’m hearing that I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole. But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons.”

Trump revisited the topic of heaven earlier this month, when a reporter raised the issue aboard Air Force One as he returned to the US from a Middle East visit that included a ceasefire in Gaza.
When asked about his chances of going to heaven after brokering the deal between Israel and Hamas, Trump replied: “I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything going to get me into heaven.
“I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”
