Emman Atienza, a TikTok personality and daughter of renowned TV host Kim Atienza, has sadly passed away at the age of 19.
Her family used Instagram as a platform to deliver the tragic news of her ‘unexpected’ death.
She gained a significant following by candidly discussing mental health issues on TikTok, amassing over 856,000 followers and nearly 50 million likes.
Emman was the daughter of Filipino TV presenter and weatherman Kim Atienza and his wife, businesswoman Felicia Hung. Her grandfather is the former Manila mayor Lito Atienza.
The family posted a series of photos on Felicia’s Instagram with a message: “It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman.
“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her.
“Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone.”
They continued: “To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life.”
The message was signed off by Kim and Felicia alongside their children, Jose and Eliana.
The internet was soon filled with tributes for the beloved social media influencer.
One individual expressed: “I’m so sorry for your loss… sending my deepest condolences to you and your family. May Emman rest in peace.”

Fans also shared how Emman’s open discussions about mental health were a source of support during their difficult times.

Medical records from Los Angeles County confirmed Emman’s passing occurred at a home in LA on Wednesday, October 23.
According to the GMA Network, she had relocated to the city in August.
Just two days before her tragic death, Emman appeared joyful in a TikTok life update.
The video compilation showcased her engaging in activities such as dancing with friends, rollerskating, skateboarding, and rock climbing.
She captioned it: “Life lately… does this go hard?”
