Twins Experiment with Different Diets for Their Next Body Transformation Challenge

The Turner twins are gearing up for their upcoming dietary experiment.

Recently, Hugo and Ross Turner reached out to UNILAD readers to help them decide their next challenge.

The twins have previously undertaken studies, comparing diets such as meat versus vegan and high carb versus high fat.

Being identical twins makes Hugo and Ross ideal participants for these experiments, allowing them to observe how different diets affect their bodies.

Their meat versus vegan study attracted significant interest. Hugo adopted a vegan diet, while Ross followed a conventional diet including meat, fish, and dairy — both noticed changes.

Hugo lost four pounds and reduced his body fat by one percent. Conversely, Ross gained 10 pounds of muscle but also increased his body fat percentage from 13 to 15 percent.

After completing their high carb versus high fat challenge, the twins sought advice on their next endeavor.

They offered UNILAD readers a choice through an online poll: fasting vs non-fasting, 1 vs 12 rep workouts, and ab simulation pads vs sit-ups.

The verdict is in…

Almost half of the voters chose for Hugo and Ross to explore fasting versus non-fasting diets to observe the effects on their bodies.

Discussing the choice with UNILAD, the twins expressed their enthusiasm: “We’re excited to start our next 12-week fitness study — fasting v non-fasting — because like all of our other studies, we discover something new in the results that others can apply into their daily lives.”

The Turner twins aim to kick off the new fitness study in the coming weeks.

They have no intention of ending their experiments any time soon.

When questioned about the future of their diet and fitness challenges, Ross commented: “As long as we can, I think. We’re very lucky to get to work together and we’re very lucky that we’re twins within this market.”

Ross, who alongside Hugo, holds a world record for tandem electric flight over the French Alps, added: “We enjoy it and we’re supported by some amazing sponsors and brands, and as long as they continue to support us and believe in what we’re doing, which is all about learning about the world through technology and adventure, then hopefully do it for as long as possible.”
