In today’s world, managing multiple subscriptions to stay updated with your favorite shows is a common aspect of life.
However, Netflix subscribers in the UK are about to get more value for their money with a new subscription that bundles together four major streaming services.
Adding to the appeal, fans of Friends will have the opportunity to stream the iconic ’90s show as part of this arrangement.
The beloved sitcom was removed from Netflix US in 2020, and UK viewers faced the same outcome nearly five years later, in December 2025.
The show’s licensing agreement with Netflix had ended, but it remains under the ownership of Warner Bros, which is partially being acquired by Netflix.
However, Friends is not making a return to Netflix UK; instead, it will be available on HBO Max, launching in the UK on March 26 as part of this special subscription offer.
This news is particularly exciting for Euphoria fans, as the highly anticipated third season will debut on the platform in April.
The subscription is provided by Sky TV, offering a combination of Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, and Hayu within a single subscription for £24 ($32.80), along with Sky Originals and Exclusives and access to over 130 live TV channels.
Currently, the cost of subscribing to each streaming service separately at their lowest tiers totals £23.96, with each priced at £5.99. For just 4p more, you can access all these services in one subscription, in addition to Sky Originals, Exclusives, and live TV channels.
Sophia Ahmad, Chief Consumer Officer at Sky, stated: “This marks a new era for Sky and NOW. In a world-first, we’re bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into a single Sky TV subscription.”
Sky has confirmed that the package will include Disney+ Standard with Ads, available in March, with HBO Max Basic with Ads joining when it launches in March, and Hayu will be added in July with a selection of top shows starting in March.
“Nowhere else offers this breadth of incredible entertainment in a fully integrated experience, with everything customers love watching side by side so viewers can jump from show to show with ease.”
She further commented, “Millions of existing customers will get easy access to this new line-up as standard at unbeatable value. All NOW Entertainment customers will get access to HBO Max, included at no extra cost, fully integrated within the NOW app.”
