‘Unbelievably Wild’ New True Crime Documentary on Missing Husband Has Viewers Binge-Watching

A captivating new true crime documentary has been released, and it’s prompting viewers to watch it all at once.

Following the success of AMY BRADLEY IS MISSING and Confessions of a Parent Killer, which kept true crime enthusiasts engrossed in recent weeks, a fresh documentary has left fans astounded, with some viewers exclaiming ‘this s**t is crazy’.

Available for streaming on Hulu, the documentary delves into the 17-year-old mystery surrounding the death of Mike Williams in Tallahassee, Florida.

The 31-year-old real estate appraiser vanished during a duck-hunting trip on Lake Seminole in December 2000, leaving behind his wife Denise and their young daughter.

For nearly twenty years, authorities believed Mike had fallen overboard and drowned, with his remains being consumed by alligators.

However, the real story emerged in 2017.

The incredible narrative is part of ABC News Studio’s series Mr. & Mrs. Murder.

Viewers of the show have confessed it was so compelling that they watched it straight through.

One individual tweeted on X: “Mr & Mrs Murder on #Hulu…,” along with a meme that reads ‘that’s wild as f***’.

Another viewer commented: “I watched this whole thing in one sitting they both need to rot in hell.”

Investigators discovered Mike’s deserted boat and truck at Lake Seminole, initially suspecting a tragic accident had occurred.

Yet, Cheryl Williams, Mike’s mother, remained skeptical. Her instincts were spot on.

Mike fell victim to a calculated murder plot orchestrated by his wife Denise and his best friend Brian Winchester.

The two had been involved romantically since 1997, and just six months before Mike’s disappearance, he acquired a $1.75 million life insurance policy through Brian.

Their scheme appeared successful until Brian was arrested in 2016 for threatening Denise with a firearm as their marriage unraveled.

Subsequently, Brian struck a deal with prosecutors, securing immunity in Mike’s death in return for divulging the events of that fateful day.

His confession revealed that he pushed Mike from the boat and shot him when Mike managed to swim to a stump, trying to cling to it.

“He was panicking and I was panicking,” Brian recounted during his testimony. “None of this was going like I thought it was gonna go.”

He subsequently directed authorities to Mike’s body at Carr Lake, located an hour from Lake Seminole.

“We were Bonnie and Clyde,” Brian described his partnership with Denise. “We were partners in crime.”

In December 2018, a jury convicted Denise of conspiracy to commit murder and accessory, sentencing her to life imprisonment.

While her murder conviction was later overturned, her conviction for conspiracy remained.

Brian received a 20-year sentence for kidnapping Denise, while she is serving a 30-year term.
