Vin Diesel shares powerful message to Dwayne Johnson, concluding decade-long feud

Vin Diesel has conveyed a powerful message to Dwayne Johnson, addressing the longstanding conflict between them.

The two actors have shared the screen in several Fast and Furious films, but their on-set relationship has not always been harmonious.

Their feud has been public for quite some time, yet Vin Diesel has now suggested that they have reconciled. This comes after he took to Instagram to post a nostalgic photo of the duo on set.

In his post, Vin Diesel reflected on his connection with The Rock and commended the 53-year-old’s recent work as Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine.

“One of the greatest gifts in life isn’t something you can buy, it’s the relationships forged along the way,” he expressed.

“And let me celebrate Dwayne. People don’t understand what it takes to uphold a global perception every single day. I remember asking our global family who they’d love to see me work with, and a woman named Jan left a comment saying her dream was for me to collaborate with Dwayne.

“What followed became one of the most dynamic pairings in cinema, two strong personalities who pushed each other and created something unforgettable. When he stepped into Hobbs, he did it with full commitment and left an indelible mark on Universal’s character hall of fame.”

Vin Diesel continued by expressing his pride in his Fast and Furious colleague and praised his role in The Smashing Machine.

“Dwayne really did it… He brought us back in time and shined doing it,” Vin Diesel remarked.

This development was unexpected for fans, considering the actors’ rumored discord, particularly after Johnson reportedly referred to his former co-star as a ‘cand ya**’ in a past Instagram post, which led to him exiting the Fast and Furious series.

The post, which was eventually removed, was shared before the 2017 release of The Fate of The Furious, and stated: “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.

“My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals, while others don’t.

“The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyway. Candy a**es.

“When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right. #ZeroToleranceForCandyA**es.”

The former WWE star later expressed regret for his comments, acknowledging it wasn’t his ‘best day’ and admitting that silence might have been the better choice.

Efforts have been made to contact representatives of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson for their input.
