The family of Virginia Giuffre has issued a clarification regarding her earlier social media post, which implied she had only ‘days to live’.
On March 30, an Instagram post appeared on Virginia Giuffre’s account. Giuffre is known for her accusations against Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew regarding sexual abuse.
The post included an image of Giuffre with visible bruises, appearing to be in a hospital bed. She explained in the caption that she had been involved in an accident with a school bus.
She wrote: “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.”
The post continued: “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it’s still going to be s**t at the end of the day.
“Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all xx Virginia.”
The Western Australia Police Force later released a statement regarding ‘a report of a minor crash’ between a car and a bus on March 24, but it did not mention any names.
Later, Giuffre’s family released a statement to LADbible Group, which said: “Virginia thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support. She is overwhelmed with gratitude.
“Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care. On March 24, in rural Western Australia, a school bus hit the car in which she was riding.
“The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene. They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital. The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a police report, which he did later.
“Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital.
“Concerning her Instagram post, Virginia thought that she had posted on her private Facebook page. Virginia and her family thank everyone for their concern.”
